Mad Hatters was born in 2004 when my friend Margaret's son was getting married. She couldn't find a fascinator to complete her outfit so she asked if I might be able to help. I had a wonderful time piecing together a creation that would set off her look to perfection... Margaret was delighted with the result and I discovered a new passion. Since then, initially with the invaluable help of two talented friends, I've created unique headwear for many discerning women looking for that ideal accessory to complete their outfit.

Once you have decided upon your outfit for your special occasion, we recommend you make an appointment to meet with me at my studio in Faversham, Kent. You're welcome to bring a trusted friend along too for a second opinion. During your complementary one to one session, I'll invite you to try different items on so we can establish your likes and dislikes, and which type of design is going to make you feel most fabulous.

Each item is bespoke and lovingly hand crafted to achieve the look that's right for you. Fabrics may be dyed, sprayed, hand painted... and your final design might feature the tiniest off cut of fabric, together with feathers, veiling, pearls, crystals or lace.
