It was these words from one friend to another during her frustrating and fruitless search for ‘The Hat’ for a very important wedding that started it all.

The result, a stunning ‘fascinator’ whose shades subtly echoed and complemented her chosen ensemble that prompted the question ‘Where did you get that…?’ So Madhatter Design & Accessories was born.

Madhatters was founded early in 2004 and our collection can be seen at our studio in Faversham, Kent. We have two designers with a wealth of expertise in Continental European fashion and millinery, fabric design and craft, supported by a business manager with many years of experience in creating the type of efficient and smooth running operation we are today.

Our original and stylish products are designed to give our customers the opportunity to make a fashion statement by wearing something that has been especially created for them alone.

Fascinator/mini-hat bases are light and discrete (approximately 10-15cm). They are attached to a comb which ensures a comfortable 'fastening' to your hair. Place the comb approximately 2.5cm (an inch) behind your chosen position and secure forwards. Be brave! Try several different angles. For maximum impact, wear as far forwards as is comfortable.
